Winter in Sälen

Sälen is the most visited ski resort in Sweden with skiing from November to May.

In the mountains of Sälen there are about 90 ski lifts and over 100 slopes. The area is perfect for a family holiday with many activities for children. There are 50 km crosscountry tracks and a lot of snow mobile rails. The famous ski competition VASALOPPET takes place in Sälen every winter.
